With around a month left before the start of the 2020-21 NBA season, teams are beginning to release their City Edition jerseys on social media. The Boston Celtics have yet to officially release their jersey design for the upcoming campaign, but leaks have made their waves all over the internet.

With the leaks coming out, Celtics fans themselves took to Twitter to make fun of their beloved squad's possible alternate uniforms for next season. Twitter user @beardjam hilariously suggested a theme representing a Boston classic: Dunkin' Donuts.

Imagine Jayson Tatum rocking these. Oh wait, a Twitter user already did the honors.

Another Twitter user even went as far as this:

For those who don't know, the global donuts brand originated in Quincy, Massachusetts, which is around 10 miles from Boston. Dunkin' Donuts now holds its headquarters in Canton, which is 20 miles from Beantown.

Certainly, it would be funny if the Celtics actually consider doing something crazy like the suggestions above. Likewise, the pink and orange colors would veer away from their usual green, white, and occasional black stripes.

Nonetheless, it seems highly unlikely that the Cs would ask Nike to do this for them. So Boston fans worrying about Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and co. sporting the Dunkin' Donuts-themed jerseys next season should not fret about the idea too much.

As for the serious design leaks, the Celtics could go with a design similar to their 17 championship banners at the TD Garden.

With Boston still gunning for championship no. 18 and looking to break the current league record, which was tied by the Los Angeles Lakers with their recent 2020 title win, perhaps sporting the banner-themed jerseys would serve as extra motivation for the Celtics..
