Boston Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward says he feels better physically now than he did at the beginning of the season, and it's showing on the court.

In the Celtics' first round sweep of the Indiana Pacers, Hayward looked like the Utah Jazz version of himself. He averaged 12.3 points coming off the bench and shot 48.6 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from the 3-point line.

In Game 4, Hayward scored 20 points in 33 minutes while shooting an efficient 7-of-9 from the floor.

“Physically, I feel way better now than I did at the beginning of the season,” Hayward said, via Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated. “For sure, physically it’s been a slow progression. I’m still continuing to do my ankle exercises and try to strengthen that ankle but I think more than anything, having the experience, having the reps, getting the confidence back.”

For the Celtics to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round, they will need Gordon Hayward to continue to play at an All-Star level. The Bucks had the best record in the NBA during the regular season and have offensive fire power at every position.

Game 1 of this series is on Sunday in Milwaukee. Let's see if Hayward can build off his productive series against the Pacers and help the Celtics advance to their third-straight Eastern Conference Finals.
