Boston Celtics guard/forward Gordon Hayward has received increased media attention as of late. Video clips have made rounds online showing him moving around freely and shooting during warm-ups. Many believe that he'll soon be back in action after sustaining a horrific foot injury during the first game of the season.

As reported by Kyle Goon of The Salt Lake Tribune, head coach Brad Stevens says that Hayward is not yet cleared to run on the court:

“Progressing well. Still on the Alter-G [weight-supported treadmill] though, not on the court as far as running goes. What I told you a couple weeks ago is the same, he’s got a long way to go still. And we actually organized for him to go down to Miami for a couple of days this week with the ATP tour down there and watch some tennis, which is one of his favorite things to do, and continue his rehab there.

Though it's wise for the Celtics to just let Hayward sit it out through the rest of the season and the playoffs, fans and the media are just too excited for Hayward to be finally healthy. They want to see how Hayward would fit in with Kyrie Irving and the rest of the Celtics. Since without Hayward, the Celtics have performed well. What more if he's 100 percent healthy?

On whether Hayward will be included in the playoffs roster, Stevens quipped:

“I have no idea. Maybe just to list him as questionable just to mess with people. I don’t know that we’d do that.”
