Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward hurt his right ankle on Monday in Game 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Hayward will undergo an MRI on his ankle, per ESPN.

Celtics fans are praying the injury isn't serious. By now, everyone is familiar with Gordon Hayward's injury history.

Hayward played 34 minutes against the Sixers. He put up 12 points, four rebounds and three assists in Boston's 109-101 victory.

The Celtics are back in action on Wednesday. They'll look to take a 2-0 series lead.

However, it's unknown at this point if Hayward will be able to play. Stay tuned to ClutchPoints to get more news on the Celtics swingman.
