Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward and his wife, Robyn, welcomed their fourth child and first son into the world on Wednesday.

Shortly before Gordon and the Celtics were set to tip-off Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat in the bubble, Robyn announced the birth of Gordon Theodore Hayward (Theo) on Instagram.

“Our little man is finally here! This is Theo, Gordon Theodore Hayward,” Robyn captioned. “If you ask @gordonhayward his name is GT, but if you ask me and the girls his name is Theo. I miss you bunches @gordonhayward and can’t wait for you to meet him. We’re ready to watch you tonight!”

In the photos posted, Robyn clearly made the decision to roll young Theo onto his front side in order to display the “Baby G” name on the back of his baby-size Celtics onesie. The positioning of the newborn, however, caused the new mother to take some flak on social media.

Initially, Gordon Hayward was planning on leaving the bubble to be present with his wife for the birth, but he decided to remain with the team after he got some unexpected time off because of a sprained ankle. He was able to use some of that time with his wife and three daughters.

“I think his ankle's fine right now,” Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said after the birth was announced. “I don't think he's thought about it all afternoon obviously. … Very, very happy to hear the news.”

Congratulations to the Haywards!
