The Boston Celtics are moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals after taking down the Milwaukee Bucks in seven games. In a physical series in the NBA playoffs against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the defending champs (minus Khris Middleton), the Celtics witnessed the performance of a lifetime from none other than…Grant Williams.

Although he hardly commanded the offense, Williams led the Celtics in field-goal attempts with 22 after the Bucks dared him time and time again to let it fly. He made them pay, converting seven of his 18 shots from deep. He scored a game-high and career-high 27 points to go along with six rebounds and two blocks to extinguish the Bucks.

Williams became the third-ever player to make seven triples in a Game 7 contest. The Celtics' forward joins Marcus Morris, who did it in last year's first round against the Dallas Mavericks, and none other than Stephen Curry. He helped complete the 3-1 comeback against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2016 Western Conference Finals and kept his shot going while the Houston Rockets missed 27 consecutive triples in the 2018 conference finals.

Williams even took it a step further against the Bucks by joining their huddle briefly. His defense also played a big part in helping to slow down Antetokounmpo, who looked out of gas after having to do it all for Milwaukee.

The Celtics will face the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. It will be a rematch from 2020, when the Heat punched their ticket to the Finals after holding Boston off in six games.
