Isaiah Thomas is not currently in the NBA as he has become something of a journeyman throughout his career. Last suiting up for the Washington Wizards during the 2019-20 campaign, Thomas is now openly campaigning for a reunion with one of his former teams in the Boston Celtics.

Not only that, but the ex-Celtics playmaker is also open to coming off the bench for Boston after he acknowledged the team's lack of scoring in the second unit.

In addition to both the Celtics and the Wizards, Isaiah Thomas has also suited up for the Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets during his time atop the highest level. IT was originally selected by the Kings with the last pick in the 2011 NBA Draft out of Washington, but he ultimately blossomed as a member of the Celtics.

Thomas went on to spend two-plus seasons in Boston. In what would become his final go-round with the Beantown team in the 2016-17 campaign, Thomas averaged an impressive 28.9 points per game alongside 2.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists. He started all 76 of his regular season appearances that season, too.

With Thomas becoming a bit injury prone as of late in addition to the fact that he is a bit far removed from his success with the Celtics, he has had a difficult time latching on with NBA franchises. However, perhaps his openness to a reserve role will open things up for him with 2020-21 only in its early stages.
