As Jalen Rose said it, if there is one thing the Boston Celtics need to do right now amid their struggles with the Jayson Tatum-Jaylen Brown duo, it is to preach patience.

Of course that is easier said than done given that the Celtics are out of the playoff picture at 18-21. Heck, they won't even make the play-in tournament if the season ends today. However, after several changes during the offseason–including a coaching shift–perhaps the struggles and adjustment are to be expected.

There have been several talks about the Celtics breaking the partnership since it is just not working as things currently stand. However, Rose advised the Beantown team not to panic and instead look for a guard who can make things easier for the duo in this perimeter-driven league.

True enough, a little trouble shouldn't send Brad Stevens and the Celtics front office panicking. They have found some success with the two leading the way, and it might be a bit too premature to break the partnership before it even reaches its full potential.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are still young and far from their primes, and it might be difficult for Boston to find players of their caliber. While it is alluring to get a massive haul for one of the two, Jalen Rose makes a good point about building around them if the Celtics want to build a championship team.

It remains to be seen what the Celtics will do with the trade deadline just a month away, but like Rose, there are several fans hoping they'd choose to be buyers instead of sellers.
