Phoenix Suns guard Jamal Crawford believes that the Boston Celtics will beat the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round series between the two Eastern Conference powerhouse teams.

Crawford gave his take during Game 1 of the Celtics-Bucks series on Sunday afternoon. The Celtics are considered underdogs in the series, but they immediately took control of Game 1, convincing Crawford that Boston will eventually win the series.

The Bucks, the favorites to win the Eastern Conference title this season after finishing with the best regular-season record, struggled to adjust to the defensive intensity of the Celtics. In turn, they absorbed a 112-90 loss to the fourth-seeded team in front of a stunned crowd at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was limited to just 22 points on 7-for-21 shooting after the Celtics threw different defenders and schemes against the MVP candidate. Al Horford had several highlight plays against Antetokounmpo, including two big blocks.

Horford was also a key factor on offense, as he finished with 20 points on 3-for-5 shooting from the field, including an impressive 3-for-5 clip from the 3-point region. The star forward also tallied 11 rebounds, three assist, three blocks and a steal for the Celtics.

Kyrie Irving led the scoring parade for Boston, as he erupted for 26 points to go along with 11 assists and seven boards. Jaylen Brown posted 19 markers and four rebounds, while Gordon Hayward scored 13 and tallied five dimes off the bench. Terry Rozier also had a solid night with 11 points, nine rebounds and three assists for Boston.

The Celtics will look to take a commanding 2-0 lead when they collide again on Tuesday, April 30, in Milwaukee.
