Over the past couple of years, the Boston Celtics have played the Golden State Warriors very well. This season, Boston went 1-1 against Golden State. They lost at home by only four points and then blew out the Dubs at Oracle Arena this past Thursday by a whopping 33 points.

So why do the Celtics play the Warriors so well? Boston small forward Jaylen Brown says the team always looks forward to playing Golden State, and he also credits head coach Brad Stevens' system.

“I think we look forward to it,” Jaylen Brown said on ESPN's The Jump. “Of course, when you're playing against the reigning champs, you wanna come out and be locked in. I think our system is great. I think Brad Stevens has a great system that can defend the Warriors very well.”

Against the Warriors this past Thursday, the Celtics outscored the Fubs in all four quarters.

Brown scored 18 points off the bench while shooting 8-of-16 from the field and 2-of-4 from beyond the arc. It was a performance that Celtics fans were relieved to see from Boston since this season has been very up and down for the team.

The Celtics are 41-26 on the season. They are on a three-game winning streak after defeating the Lakers on Saturday.
