All isn't well in Beantown. The Boston Celtics have struggled to cope with constant roster turnover as they've battled both actual injuries and healthy & safety protocols.

Boston has failed to post consecutive victories in their last 12 games, going 4-8 in that span to tumble down the standings in a packed Eastern Conference playoff picture.

After their latest loss to an even more depleted Minnesota Timberwolves squad, Celtics veteran Al Horford wanted his teammates to look inward to find the answers to their struggles.

Via MassLive:

“Right now, this is who we are. We're searching. Definitely. … At the end of the day, we kind of have to look in the mirror at ourselves individually and as a team. It’s something that we have to do.”

But clearly not all his Celtics teammates are in agreement. Jaylen Brown was asked about his take on Al Horford's assessment of the team. Safe to say the two weren't in unison for their message to reporters on Monday.

Via Celtics reporter Keith Smith:

Jaylen Brown was asked about Al Horford's comment that the team is “searching” and “has to look in the mirror”. Brown said: “Searching and looking in the mirror? Nah. No comment.”

Whatever the true cause may be, the Boston Celtics have a long way to go if they want to regain their place among the Eastern Conference elite. Getting on the same page would probably be a good way to start.
