Make no mistake about it. Jaylen Brown respects The King. He speaks no ill-will towards The King. And coming from an extremely highly-disciplined Brad Stevens-coached squad would never poke The King.
He will, however, drop the hammer on reality.
Ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers must-win Game 3 at home, the young Boston Celtics star made it crystal clear that LeBron James will have to “earn this one,” via NBA TV.

This is classic Celtics. As terrific as they are as one unit is just as great as they are on the respect end of things. They play hard, physical and get in everybody's face at every turn yet never overstep the boundary of dirtiness. It's a trait almost impossible to cultivate yet Brad Stevens has done just that.
The way they think basketball and strategy is also well-respected as it translates beautifully when discussing about LeBron James (as seen above).
Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals is set for Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. ET. Down 0-2, LeBron James and the Cavs “need it” yet according to young Jaylen Brown, he'll have to “earn it” the hard way.
