Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown congratulated his ‘brothers' Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker for making the NBA All-Star Game.

In his third year in the league, Tatum is averaging 21.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists. Walker, meanwhile, who's donning the Celtics green and white for the first time, is putting up 22.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game. Along with the rest of the Celtics pack, they have mounted an impressive 32-15 record for third place in the East. Analysts believe that the Stevens-led squad are strong title contenders.

Though he wasn't selected into the All-Star game, many believe that Brown deserves to be in there. After all, he has beefed up his numbers this year. He's averaging career-high in points (20.1), rebounds (6.6), assists (2.4), and field goal percentage (49.5). Nevertheless, Brown is still happy that his teammates got rewarded for their stellar play.

Last week, the NBA announced the starters for the East and West. Walker of the Celtics joined Joel Embiid, Pascal Siakam, Trae Young, and Giannis Antetokounmpo (captain). The Western All-Star starters are Anthony Davis, Luka Doncic, James Harden, LeBron James (captain), and Kawhi Leonard.

Recently, the All-Star reserves were named. Along with Tatum of the Celtics, the East All-Star reserves are Jimmy Butler, Ben Simmons, Kyle Lowry, Khris Middleton, Domantas Sabonis, and Bam Adebayo. While the West All-Star reserves are Nikola Jokic, Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Chris Paul, Brandon Ingram, Russell Westbrook.

Like last year, team captains James and Antetokounmpo will get to form their own teams for the Feb. 16 duel. They will get to choose a player pool that includes the other eight starters and the 14 reserves, regardless of conference designation. The Celtics will be well-represented.
