The Boston Celtics have been dealing with a slew of injuries this season, but most of them have come at the absolute worst time: just as the playoffs are about to begin.

Kyrie Irving is out 3-6 weeks following a minimally invasive knee procedure. Marcus Smart is out indefinitely with a complete tear of a ligament in his right thumb. Marcus Morris is out and day-to-day with a right ankle sprain. Daniel Theis is out for the season with a meniscus tear in his knee. Gordon Hayward is out for the season with the gruesome broken leg injury suffered on opening night.

Amongst all the bad news for the Celtics, there is some good, however, as second-year forward Jaylen Brown will officially return and start for Boston tonight against the Sacramento Kings, per Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe.

Brown had missed the last six games for the Celtics with a nasty looking concussion that, frankly, could've ended up much worse than what it was. In a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Brown elevated for a fast break dunk down the middle of the floor fighting through some contact. After finishing the dunk, Brown's grip loosened and his fingers slipped off the rim.
