Boston Celtics forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are playing like All-Stars this season and it's a sight everyone in Boston is thrilled to see.

On Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Brown and Tatum combined for 64 points to help the Celtics win their fifth straight game. Boston is now 22-7 on the season. The Celtics have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference and appear on their way to redeeming themselves after last season's dysfunctional campaign.

Brown and Tatum are becoming a lethal dynamic duo for the Celtics. Brown, who scored 34 points against the Cavs, says it's “hard” for teams to stop him and Tatum at the same time when they are both rolling:

“I think both of us together, it’s hard for teams to scheme and stop us both,” Brown said, via The Athletic. “We just try to come out and be aggressive. And days like today they couldn’t stop either of us. But we just have to keep going. It’s early in the season still. We still have got a lot of work to do. I’m not too excited about today’s win. Of course it was great to win. But I’ll be more excited for tomorrow’s win.”

The Celtics have a good shot at winning the Eastern Conference this season. For that to happen, Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Gordon Hayward all have to play at a high-level.

Many believe one of the reasons Brown is flourishing this season is because he got his contract taken care of. Brown signed a rookie-scale extension with the Celtics before the season started, so he's playing free now and turning into an elite two-way player right before our eyes.

Tatum, meanwhile, has always been a talented scorer. He's become more efficient as the season has gone along. Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge is starting to look really smart for not trading Tatum and Brown for some of the superstars who have requested trades over the past few seasons.

The Celtics are in action again on Saturday. They host the Toronto Raptors. The Celtics just defeated the Raptors on Christmas up in Canada.
