The game between the Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday was a highly competitive one, as it was a battle between two teams that are expected to contend for this year's title. However, late in the third quarter, the air was sucked out of Target Center, after seeing Jaylen Brown suffer a nasty fall, which had everyone worried about his condition.

After lying down on the court for a few minutes, he was able to stand and even walk on his own, which drew a loud ovation from the Minnesota faithful. Now, more good news has been reported, as the 21-year-old California product was apparently “feeling good” when he left the arena to undergo some tests, according to Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe.

The exact extent of the injury will be revealed after he undergoes all the tests he needs. The fall was a scary one, and Brown can consider himself lucky if he only has a concussion and will miss a few games. He is enjoying a solid year, with averages of 14.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 31.0 minutes per game, as he has been given a bigger role in his second season in the league.

The Beantown faithful can only keep their fingers crossed for no and hope that Jaylen Brown did not suffer any serious injuries. He has been an integral part of the Celtics this season, and if he will be forced to miss some time, Jayson Tatum and Marcus Morris are going to be relied upon heavily to step up their games to fill in the void left by him.
