Boston Celtics teammates Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown went toe-to-toe with one another in the NBA All-Star Game, particularly in one epic possession early in the second quarter. It was Brown who got the best of Tatum as the former got fouled.

After the game, though, Tatum claimed that Brown put that homecourt advantage to good use.

Per NBC Sports, Tatum shared his thoughts on his duel with his Celtics teammate.

Below is the play in question. Was it a foul or was Tatum right in his reading? Whatever side you're on, a foul call is a rare sight in the NBA All-Star Game, so there's a good chance that the referees gave Brown the benefit of the doubt by calling the foul.

The two Celtics sure had their fun on Sunday. They still have a couple more days to rest, relax and prepare themselves for the second half of the season.

After the league announced the All-Stars for this year, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum weren't particularly ecstatic. While they acknowledged it was a great individual milestone, the Celtics stars weren't too pleased with their team's performance. Heading to the break, they sport a subpar 19-17 record for fourth place in the East.

Tatum noted that the team is used to being on top of the East, so their current performance isn't exactly up to their expectations so far.

As such, we may expect a bit of renewed ferocity from Brown and Tatum in the second half of the 2020-21 NBA season. They had their fun in the All-Star game. Now, it's back to business. The title chase continues for the young Celtics.
