Jayson Tatum had another strong performance for the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night, but it just wasn't enough. It was the Miami Heat who emerged with a 118-107 victory as they drew first blood in their Eastern Conference Finals series.

A bit of a silver lining in the loss is the fact that Tatum made history yet again behind his 29-point effort. The Celtics star is now just the fifth player in NBA history to have at least 40 playoff games scoring 20 points or more before turning 25. He joins the likes of LeBron James and Kobe Bryant on this elite list (h/t NBA History on Twitter):

Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade are the other two players that make up this very short, yet highly esteemed list. At this point in Tatum's career, it's no longer a surprise to see the Celtics star's name alongside these all-time greats.

Be that as it may, I'm pretty sure that Tatum himself won't be paying much attention to this achievement. At the end of the day, the most important thing here is that the Celtics lost and that they now have to find a way to bounce back in Game 2.
