We all witnessed a vintage performance from Al Horford on Monday night as he turned back the clock to bring out the All-Star form he once had during his prime. Jayson Tatum was all for it as he heaped praise on his Boston Celtics teammate following their 116-108 Game 4 win over Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Tatum had nothing but praise for Horford, as the Celtics superstar expressed how grateful he is to his veteran teammate for his guidance over the past three seasons:

“He’s helped me a great deal in the three years that we’ve played together, and I’m very lucky and fortunate to be able to call Al a teammate,” Tatum said, via the Boston Celtics on Twitter.

Tatum has emerged as one of the brightest young stars in the NBA today and it is clear that Horford has given him a lot of help along the way.

“Al's been great for the team. Al's been great for me,” Tatum added, via Jay King of The Athletic. “Nobody can ever say anything bad about Al. … I'm very lucky and fortunate to be able to call Al a teammate.”

Horford busted out for a team-high 30 points in Game 4, which is tied with Tatum's 30-point effort. Horford also logged eight rebounds and three assists in 42 minutes of action. Clearly, the Celtics vet still has a lot of gas left in the tank.
