The Boston Celtics-Golden State Warriors are expected to be one of the most profitable NBA Finals in recent memory. After all, these are two big market teams with tons of following. Naturally, ticket prices for the games are expected to be expensive.

But how expensive? Well, let's just say even Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown couldn't believe it.

On social media, Tatum uploaded a video of him and Brown discussing the NBA Finals ticket prices that are now worth at least $1,000. Brown can be heard saying not to call him and instead watch it for free on TV.

It's hard to blame the Celtics duo for their shocked but funny reaction about the ticket prices. It's truly insane, but at the end of the day, it is also why NBA players are being paid handsomely. It just goes to show the popularity of the game.

However, for those who want to watch the Warriors-Celtics showdown, they might have to shell out more than just $1000. According to a Sporting News report, the cheapest ticket prices in Game 1 is $800 while the most expensive is $16,852. The current average price per ticket is $2,353.

That amount increases to $2,685 in Game 2, while the average ticket prices in Games 3 and 4 in Boston are at $2,361 and $2,532 respectively.

Perhaps it is really best to watch the games on TV until it's the decider?
