Behind 61 points from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday to take a 1-0 series lead.

The Celtics outscored the Sixers 34-22 in the fourth quarter after the first three quarters were close. Boston will look to take a 2-0 series lead on Wednesday.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are trying to establish themselves as the best young duo in the NBA. Celtics general manager Danny Ainge has never budged on Tatum or Brown and believes both guys are going to be superstars in the NBA. Ainge could have traded both youngsters for some of the big-time players who have requested trades the past couple of seasons, but there's a reason he didn't.

Tatum made his first All-Star game in 2019-20. Brown will certainly make one soon.
