After the Boston Celtics defeated the Toronto Raptors in Game 2 to take a commanding 2-0 series lead, All-Stars Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker talked about their admiration for Marcus Smart.

Smart turned into Stephen Curry in Game 2 against the Raptors. He had 16 points in the fourth quarter in a span of three minutes, as he went crazy from beyond the arc.

Per usual, Smart played elite defense and continues to be the heart and soul of the team. While speaking to reporters, Tatum and Walker showered Smart with love.

Marcus Smart finished with 19 points, three rebounds and one assist in Game 2 in 39 minutes. Jayson Tatum poured in 34 points to lead the Celtics, while Kemba Walker had 17 after struggling with his shot early on.

While the Celtics are thrilled they took a 2-0 lead over the defending champions, the work isn't done yet. Boston still has to win two more games and it's worth mentioning the Raptors erased a 2-0 deficit against the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals, though the team had superstar Kawhi Leonard leading the charge.

Smart may never make an All-Star team during his NBA career, but the rugged defender doesn't care about that. All Smart wants is to bring a championship to Boston.
