The Boston Celtics have been one of the worst teams in the league over the past couple of weeks and are desperately trying to right the ship before it's too late. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were named All-Stars for the Eastern Conference, and Tatum flashed a little bit of his talent in Sunday's game against the Washington Wizards.

Tatum dribbled at the top of the key, turned the corner, and left Rui Hachimura behind rather easily. Then he drove to the hoop and slammed it down over Robin Lopez in an impressive sequence for the Celtics star, who was named a starter for the East after Kevin Durant was announced as out for the game.

While the Celtics have hit a bump as of late, Tatum has been doing his best to keep them in games and is having a terrific year overall. He's averaging 25 points with 6.9 boards and 4.5 assists in the first chunk of the year.

Unfortunately, the success of Brad Stevens' squad has dipped in the month of February, perhaps because of the loss of Marcus Smart, or maybe due to the subpar play of Kemba Walker, who still doesn't look like himself after his injury.

The Celtics are below .500 and need to find a way to fix the issues quickly before they dig themselves into too deep of a hole.

Either way, a win over the Wizards would be huge for this team, as the Celtics just topped the Indiana Pacers on Friday night to snap their losing skid and provide a glimmer of hopes for the fanbase and the front office.
