There's no doubt that Boston Celtics stud Jayson Tatum is currently one of the brightest young superstars in the NBA today. He's done enough to earn this title in the four years he's been in the league. For his part, however, Tatum still looks up to his peers as he draws inspiration from some of the best players in today's NBA.

Interestingly, Kevin Durant and James Harden of the Brooklyn Nets — Boston's first-round opponents in the playoffs — were both part of Tatum's elite five. The Celtics stud made the revelation in a recent appearance Barstool Sports' Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.

This does not come as a surprise considering how both Durant and Harden are indeed some of the most accomplished players in the game today. It is worth noting, however, that Tatum opted to leave Brooklyn's third superstar, Kyrie Irving, off the list. For what it's worth, Tatum was teammates with Kyrie for a couple of years during the latter's brief stint with the Celtics.

All the adoration will have to be set aside when Tatum faces off against his idols on the basketball court. Boston is down 1-0 in their first-round series against the mighty Nets, and Tatum and Co. will need to come up with some tremendous performances if they hope to upset Brooklyn.

Also making Tatum's Top 5 list is Los Angeles Lakers duo LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry rounds out the list.
