Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum had a very impressive series against the Brooklyn Nets, but unfortunately his team fell short in five games. Nonetheless, he went to work on Kevin Durant, averaging 30.6 points in the first round matchup.

KD recently spoke on what it was like to guard the Celtics phenom, who is quickly turning into one of the most exciting players in the league, via Durant's podcast the ETC's:

Jayson Tatum, I mean guarding him the whole playoffs, he's shifty with it. He got long arms too so its like you dont wanna give up the three, you know? Cause he can get hot and that's how their the Celtics get going but he's just so good off the dribble. He give you five or six dribbles, hesitations, and then he's so long at the cup that he can finish over bigs. He's a tough, tough cover.

Despite starting off slow against the Nets, Tatum eventually dropped 50, 40, and 32 in the series clincher. Durant really had a tough time containing the Celtics' best player thanks to his offensive versatility and athleticism.

The scary part is, Tatum is only 23. While the Celtics have some decisions to make this offseason with their roster, they have a franchise superstar at the helm who has shown the capability to lead by example. The best is yet to come from Jayson Tatum and clearly, Kevin Durant approves.
