Something that is oftentimes overlooked about the Boston Celtics is their height. As a matter of fact, head coach Brad Stevens recently claimed that Celtics star Jayson Tatum has already grown to 6-foot-10 right now.

Tatum is officially listed at 6-foot-8, but given how it appears that he has not yet stopped growing (he is still just 22), it looks like he's grown two inches since the league last took an official measurement.

“Some of these teams that are ‘small,’ Tatum is 6-10 and [Gordon] Hayward’s a big guard, Jaylen [Brown]’s a big guard,” Stevens said, via Tom Westerholm of Mass Live. “You kind of go through and they’re not that small versus maybe traditional lineups.”

We can't say that Stevens is wrong here. He does field a considerably tall lineup, which often provides the C's with a height and length advantage over their opponents.

For the record, Hayward is listed at 6-foot-7, while Brown is at 6-foot-6. Then again, Brown is just 23, so it would not be surprising if he too grew an inch or two.

Taller or not, the Celtics were able to make easy work of the Philadelphia 76ers yet again on Wednesday, as Boston defeated the Sixers, 128-101 in Game 2 of their first-round playoffs matchup. The C's are now up 2-0 in the series, and are looking like firm favorites to progress to the next round.

Tatum was his team's best performer on Wednesday, finishing with a team-high 33 points on 12-of-20 shooting, along with five rebounds, five assists, and zero turnovers. The former third overall pick also drained eight triples in the contest, as they blew out a shorthanded Sixers side.
