Jayson Tatum is the focal point of the Boston Celtics and is one of the league's rising stars. He's shown time and again that he's the real deal, but his favorite players will definitely make Beantown wince once or twice.

The Celtics forward had an impromptu AMA session with his Twitter followers, and hundreds of questions came flying in. One of the most interesting queries he got was his all-time favorite players, and Tatum gave fans a very interesting list of basketball greats.

Plenty of Celtics fans were definitely shell-shocked that four of the five players he listed are members of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Celtics' bitter rivals. It definitely rubbed them off the wrong way knowing that the current talisman of their team worships four players that donned Purple and Gold.

However, it's not hard to blame Tatum for choosing these players, and you can see the influence of his favorites by the way he plays the game.

It's hard not to see Tatum as a taller version of Kobe and Jordan with the way he's playing. Before the season was suspended, Tatum averaged 23.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists. LeBron is an all-around juggernaut and Tatum obviously tries to emulate with the Celtics. Magic Johnson has an electrifying way of playing the game, and he's giving that in spades. The most interesting player in the list is Hakeem, but you can see him trying to integrate playing down low to his game.

While his favorite players are mostly from the Lakers, Celtics fans can take solace in the fact that he's giving it his all for the Celtic green. Eventually, he will become as legendary as Paul Pierce and Larry Bird if he plays his cards right.
