Faced with a depleted roster that was notably missing stars Jaylen Brown and Gordon Hayward, you'd expect a heavy burden to be put on Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum to carry the load as the team matched up with the Utah Jazz on Friday.

However, despite the game being within single digits for most of the fourth quarter, the young Celtics star was often not on the court during the game's final period.

And while a bit of minutes restriction for Tatum has angered a lot of fans, Tatum himself isn't too concerned per Jay King of The Athletic.

The 22-year-old would end Friday's game with 18 points on 7-19 shooting while adding seven rebounds, three assists and two steals to his stat line, playing 33 minutes in total.

Boston's aforementioned depleted roster has caused the team difficulties in, not only in recent weeks but throughout the entire season. The team can not seem to stay healthy all at once and key players such as Hayward, Brown, Kemba Walker, Robert Williams, Marcus Smart and even Tatum have missed time due to injuries.

On the other hand, the Celtics' third-year star is in the midst of by far, the best stretch of his young career. In the month of February, the 6-foot-8 forward averaged 30.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 44.0 percent from the field and an efficient 42.9 percent from deep.
