Boston Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum has been watching a lot of highlights since the NBA went on lockdown.

The Celtics All-Star spoke with Jeff Goodman on the latest episode of the Good N’ Plenty podcast about exactly what he's been doing during self-quarantine.

As transcribed by John Karalis of Mass Live:

“I ain’t dribbled a basketball, I ain’t shot a free throw,” Jayson Tatum said. “It’s like, dang.

“I’ve been watching my highlights, like, every day. I’ve watched every game from this season. I’ve watched rookie year. I’ve watched high school. I’ve watched college. Anything I can find, I just watch it.”

Before the 2019-20 season got suspended after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19, Tatum and the Celtics were in third place in the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 43-21.

Tatum made his first All-Star team in 2019-20, the first of what should be many All-Star games for the former Duke star. He was averaging 23.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists for the Celtics while shooting 44.8 percent from the field, 39.8 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Celtics wing Marcus Smart was the only known player on the team who had COVID-19. Smart revealed on Sunday he's fully recovered from his illness.

NBA owners are hopeful of resuming the season in the summer. We'll see if it actually happens.
