Before playing the do-or-die Game 6 in the NBA Finals, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum had a rather cool moment with his son Deuce.

Clearly, Tatum is getting his son into basketball early, teaching him some moves that will definitely be lethal should the youngster decide to follow his dad's footsteps and pursue basketball as a career.

In a video the Celtics star uploaded online, it seems he has taught Deuce how to do a jab step. The 4-year-old looks like he's getting a good hang of it, and he also showed some scoring chops he probably learned from his dad.

It is definitely an amazing father-and-son moment between Jayson Tatum and Deuce. The Celtics star has vowed to be the best dad to his kid, and he is definitely doing a great job at it.

“I think 2017 when I got drafted, I didn't have Deuce, but he was born in 2017, so that was a big — that was, like, the biggest year of my life, right? Starting this new chapter in my career, I just had a child,” Tatum said recently about his relationship with his son, per NBC Chicago. “My mindset was not to sacrifice either, that I was going to be the best father as I could as well as the best basketball player. There was no guideline or there was no, you know, exact way to do it. It was all about what was natural.

“I think that's what it is. I just do what's natural. I'm around him every day. I think being able to go through this journey together, because I was 19 when I got drafted, it's kind of like we're growing up together. As he's gotten older, I'm going through my career, sharing these moments, experiencing this together as we grow up.”

Perhaps bonding with his son will motivate and inspire Tatum more to do better and play his best on Thursday when they host the Golden State Warriors at home. Deuce will definitely be watching the game, and considering Tatum's love for his son, he definitely wants to make the kid even more proud.
