Robert Williams returned to action for the Boston Celtics on Saturday night after missing the past few weeks due to torn meniscus on his left knee. He played limited minutes in his comeback but he definitely made a significant impact on his team. Just ask Jayson Tatum.

After putting Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets on an 0-3 hole, Tatum opened up about how important Williams is for the Celtics. As a matter of fact, the Boston superstar had a rather surprising confession about his teammate (h/t NBA on Twitter):

“I was extremely excited,” Tatum said on Williams' return. “I might be Rob's biggest fan… Getting Rob back is huge for our team… If we was going to do anything special this year this postseason, we defintiely need him.”

Tatum said that along with Bradley Beal, Robert Williams is his favorite player in the league. Time Lord is no star, but what he brings to the table for the Celtics is extremely valuable for the squad.

Williams ended up playing 16 minutes in this one, logging just two points and two rebounds. As Tatum described, however, Williams' contributions to the Celtics go far beyond the box score.
