One of the scariest sights for parents is seeing their child get hurt, so when Andrea Walker saw how her son Kemba Walker lie motionless after colliding head first with teammate Semi Ojeleye in their game versus the Denver Nuggets Friday, she was scared.

The Boston Celtics star was carted out on a stretcher after the scary incident and was diagnosed with “concussion-like symptoms” and a neck sprain.

“It was awful,” Andrea Walker told Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe. “If I could’ve jumped through that TV, I would have. I felt like he was halfway around the world.

“I mean, all kinds of things were going through my mind. It was just crazy.”

Now, Kemba Walker is expected to be out in the Celtics’ next game versus the Sacramento Kings on Monday. However, his mother further revealed that the three-time All-Star still wants to play for his team.

“He wants to play on Monday!” Andrea  shared. “He wants to play. I’m like, ‘This boy, this boy.’ He just loves his sport so much. I told him if he wants to play, just play five minutes then.”

Since signing a $141M maximum contract with Boston  in the offseason, Walker has been all the Celtics ever wanted and more — filling the void at the point left by Kyrie Irving.

He has been  averaging stellar numbers of 21.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists, while draining 40.0 percent of his shots from the field and 38.9 from downtown.

Walker has been one of the most durable players since joining the league in 2011, playing all 82 regular season games for three consecutive seasons in his first three years. He has only missed a total of six games in the last four seasons.

The Celtics (11-4) have fizzled a bit after a blistering start and are now tied with the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors for the second-best record in the East.

The team is already missing the services of Gordon Hayward who broke his hand earlier this month.
