The Boston Celtics should be at full strength when they face the Miami Heat on Monday night, as Kyrie Irving and Al Horford are expected to play.

Both players rested last Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets, but the latest update from the reveal they will likely be ready for their showdown with the Heat.

Without two of their best players, the Celtics struggled against the Nets and lost 110-96. Although it is highly likely that they will end up as either the fourth or the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, a bunch of losses to end their regular season could hurt the team's confidence heading into the playoffs.

The Celtics have been really inconsistent all season long, and injuries are one of the reasons for it. If their key players will be able to avoid getting hurt, then their chances of making a deep run in the playoffs are expected to go up.

The result of this season could heavily impact Boston's future, as Kyrie Irving could easily leave the team for nothing this summer. The All-Star guard has publicly expressed his frustrations about the Celtics on several occasions, and if they get eliminated early in the playoffs, he might choose to go elsewhere.

Irving is averaging 23.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.6 steals this season.

As for Al Horford, he's putting up 13.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game. He's been one of the veteran leaders for the Celtics, and will once again play a key role as they gear up for the playoffs.
