Kyrie Irving made a stop at the Boston Children's Hospital to spread some Christmas cheer. He may not have been expecting the heated basketball conversation that ensued between him and one of the patients he was visiting. The kid knew his basketball and it's easy to tell from Kyrie's reaction that he and the kid had some good conversations about the game.

In the first part of the video, Irving and the kid are discussing the Morris twins and an earlier game they played against one another. Irving is trying to remember the game in question. At this point, the conversation is very cordial between the two.

But then the kid turns on Kyrie Irving and brings up Duke University's recent loss to Gonzaga University. Irving played one season at Duke before leaving to become the first overall pick in the NBA draft.

Irving understandably feels ambushed by the attack on his old school. Celtics head coach Brad Stevens has the perfect reaction to the comment as he smiles and looks to Irving for a response.

But of course, Irving is a great sport about it and the conversation is clearly in good fun. The interaction between the two is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face, outside of maybe the Grinch or Ebenezer Scrooge.

It's always heartwarming to see players give back to the community and it's clear that Irving's visit to the Boston Children's Hospital was more than a simple PR move. Kyrie Irving probably didn't expect to be roasted during his visit, but he may not have expected the young fan to be so knowledgeable about the game.
