Free agency is just one week away, and many are talking about the potential destinations of top-tier free agents, particularly All-Star guard Kyrie Irving.

Irving has recently told the Boston Celtics that he has no plans of returning to the team, which means he will be donning a new jersey next season. Up to this point, there are three teams who could potentially land Kyrie this July; the Brooklyn Nets, the New York Knicks, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

While we don't know the answer as to what Irving's team will be next season, what we know is that he's not thinking about it at the moment. The one-time NBA champion is currently in Japan, and according to reports, he's working on a ‘secret documentary.'

Irving posted multiple videos on his Instagram story, confirming that he is indeed in the Land of the Rising Sun. However, it is unclear as to what the documentary is about. But from the looks of his posts, Kyrie seems to be having fun.

Now for those wondering if this will be similar to a three-part documentary done by Oklahoma City's Paul George for ESPN last summer, it likely won't be. This is not associated in any giant media network in the US, which means that this special project by Irving is something that's completely unrelated to his free agency decision.

Irving is expected to return to the US in time to sign with his new team. He will have several meetings with his suitors, and he's expected to make his decision once free agency opens on June 30.
