After getting inadvertently hit in the face by Aron Baynes during their game on Friday against the Charlotte Hornets, Kyrie Irving may most likely miss their next match, which is on Sunday versus the Toronto Raptors, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical. It will leave the Boston Celtics thin in their backcourt, as they try to extend their impressive 11-game winning streak.

The 25-year-old was diagnosed with a minor facial fracture, and is expected to wear a protective mask in their coming games. No exact timetable has been set yet for his return.

The four-time All-Star suffered the injury less than two minutes into the game, during a block attempt by Aron Baynes on a driving Kemba Walker. Following his jump, he accidentally hit Irving's face with his arm, causing him to lay on the floor, bloodied. He immediately went straight to the locker room and did not return to the game.

Should Irving sit out Sunday's contest, Terry Rozier should see an uptick in his minutes, with Marcus Smart playing at the point guard spot in some stretches as well. It will be a tall order for the shorthanded C's to upset the Raptors, who are led by DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, but with all the momentum they currently have, it could also be enough for them to win their 12th straight game.
