The Boston Celtics have been one of the biggest mysteries in the league this season. While they boast an impressive record of 41-26, they have been as helter-skelter as you can imagine, owning numerous huge wins while also laying claim to some puzzling losses.

In the midst of the Celtics' inconsistencies have been constant concerns about the state of Boston's locker room, with many questioning just how good of a leader Kyrie Irving is.

Irving has not taken too kindly to the media's daily prodding of the C's, and this week, he lashed out against the media yet again, accusing it of breaking up locker rooms:

“The off-the-court stuff, that’s more the aspirational side of things where it’s not really so much about the game,” said Kyrie Irving, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. “That goes back to having a presence, a message that you want to get across to fans, to different industries that you want to become a part of. I don’t really have complaints about that. It’s just when you come into this business now, it’s more entertainment now more than anything else. That’s what bothers me the most. It’s like a freaking reality show at every corner. Everything that someone says is the next [big controversy]. Like I said before … this breaks up locker rooms. Media breaks up locker rooms. It happens all the time, bro. Whether people want to admit or not, it really does.”

Kyrie Irving and the Celtics are on a bit of a roll lately, as they have won their last three games, all of them coming on the road (Kyrie missed the game in Sacramento). Among those victories was a 33-point rout over the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena last week, which snapped a skid in which Boston had lost five of its last six contests at the time.
