Boston Celtics star point guard Kyrie Irving has enjoyed some incredible playoff performances in his career, but something he had never done before Sunday's Game 1 against the Milwaukee Bucks was finish a postseason game with at least 25 points and 10 assists. Irving had 26 points and 11 assists in a terrific Game 1 showing in Milwaukee:

With Irving leading the way offensively, the Celtics throttled the top-seeded Bucks by 22 points, 112-90. The point guard shot 12-of-21 overall and 2-of-5 from 3-point range. He also added seven rebounds to flirt with a triple-double.

Irving didn't shoot all that well in the first-round sweep of the Indiana Pacers, but he did have one monstrous 37-point performance in Game 2. He averaged 22.5 points in the first round and was also consistent with his playmaking, handing out 7.8 assists per contest against Indiana.

Kyrie and the Celtics went through a lot of drama during an underachieving regular season, but they appear to be peaking at the right time. We know how dangerous Irving can be in the postseason (just ask the Golden State Warriors in 2016), and he's out to prove a point after missing the entire playoffs last year because of an injury.

Kyrie Irving and the Celtics will look to take a 2-0 lead over the Bucks on Tuesday night.
