The Boston Celtics are the hardest team to gauge in the NBA right now.

After a dominant stretch concluded by an eye-opening 27-point win over the Indiana Pacers last week, the Celtics went and dropped games to the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic.

The Celtics are now 0-3 against the Heat and Magic on the season, losing twice to Orlando.

In spite of Boston's frustration over the pair of rough losses, point guard Kyrie Irving said he never wants to make an example of is teammates publicly, according to Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe:

“Sometimes I come off and say things, never to question my teammates publicly, I just want to win so bad,” said Irving, who expressed his frustrations in multiple directions after the loss to Orlando.

The Celtics are hardly in bad shape. They currently own a record of 25-17 and lay claim to the second-best net rating in the league while also ranking in the top 10 in both offensive and defensive efficiency.

However, while they own an impressive 5-3 record against the Toronto Raptors, Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers, they also have a plethora of bad losses on their resume, including home losses to the Magic, New York Knicks and Phoenix Suns.

Boston is also just 10-12 on the road.

On the year, Irving is averaging 22.7 points, 6.4 assists and 4.8 rebounds over 32.1 minutes per game while shooting 48.9 percent from the floor, 39.7 percent from 3-point range and 85.4 percent from the free-throw line.

The Celtics will conclude their three-game road trip when they take on the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night.
