Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving will be one of the most coveted players when he becomes a free agent. Incredibly desired, that franchises are getting ready for the free agency of next summer where he most likely will be one of the high profile names in the pool.

While his name may be in the middle of rumors and headlines about teaming up with other All-Stars in another team, there might be reason enough to assume that there is a good possibility that he may be sticking around in Boston.

In a tweet from Tomek Kordylewski of Celtics Life, a video of Irving answering issues regarding his Celtics tenure was seen.

“You know I just really thought it was important to make sure it is known that this franchise is really built for the next few years of being at the top tier of teams in the league, and who wouldn't want to be a part of that. I mean, what more could you ask for an organization to really elevate your game. And when you want to be in along those same lines… Playing lineage of greatness of guys that have come before you…

There are times where I think about having number 11 in the rafters hopefully one day. I mean, that's the dream you know.”

The strength of Celtic lore is strong enough to sway any player to be part of the franchise. With the strong words that Irving has left on the table, there is a good chance we may see him in green even beyond this season.
