The lead-in to Jaylen Brown‘s All-Star debut is gaining momentum. The Boston Celtics forward was picked by LeBron James to be part of Team LeBron for the upcoming All-Star Game and managed to pick-up a huge compliment from The King himself in the process.

James tipped his hat to Brown, who's been one of the most underrated stars in the league as he chose him to be part of his reserves.

James' new nickname for Brown even got the nod of approval from Kevin Durant.

Brown will be part of James' reserve unit while his teammate Jayson Tatum is set to headline Team Durant as a replacement for the injured KD.

Brown's addition makes Team LeBron quite stacked. Aside from having multiple MVPs in their starting line-up with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, and James himself, they also have MVP candidates in Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic in their starting five. For the reserves, Brown will be joining the likes of Paul George, Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, Ben Simmons, Domantas Sabonis, and Rudy Gobert.

The ‘underappreciated' Celtics swingman is looking to make an impact in his first-ever All-Star appearance this year. Brown has been having a breakout year this season and has definitely deserved this All-Star selection.

The 24-year old has been making waves in Boston, being one of the more consistent players in the roster with key players like Tatum and Kemba Walker missing some time in the first half of the 2020-21 season.
