The Boston Celtics fell flat at home for the second game in a row and now find themselves in a massive 3-1 hole in their best-of-seven second-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Celtics forward Marcus Morris clearly wasn't happy with how they responded in a must-win Game 4 and called his team “soft,” per Jay King of The Athletic:

The top-seeded Bucks now have the Celtics on the ropes. For the third straight game in this series, Boston had a bad second half and Milwaukee staged another huge run to pull away in the third quarter.

The Celtics showed no fight inside, giving up 66 interior points to Milwaukee on Monday night. This comes after they allowed the Bucks to score 52 points in the paint in Game 3, for a total of 118 inside points through the two games in Boston.

Amazingly, Milwaukee did this in Game 4 with All-Stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton saddled with foul trouble. Antetokounmpo picked up his fourth foul early in the third quarter with the game tied at 59.

This was a great opportunity for Boston to take advantage and put themselves on equal footing with the Bucks in this series. Instead, the Bucks went on to win the third quarter to lead 80-72 heading into the payoff period.

With The Greek Freak back on the floor in the fourth quarter, Milwaukee kept its foot on the pedal and is now just one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals. Antetokounmpo dominated Boston with 39 points on 15-of-22 shooting, and he added 16 rebounds and four assists to round out his MVP-like performance.

The Celtics, on the other hand, are on the brink of a disappointing finish to what has been a disappointing season.
