Boston Celtics forward Marcus Morris and his offense have been a welcome sight in the midst of a myriad of injuries in the locker room.

The Philly native has put up five 20-point games since the start of March, along with two 30-plus-point games, while only having scored 20 or more points twice during the rest of the season.

A beefy average of 18.9 points per game proved a key part of why the Celtics went 9-4 in March, but the newcomer thinks the young players are the ones deserving of the credit.

“I think the best thing about our team is the young guys,” said Morris, according to ESPN's Chris Forsberg. “They’ve stepped into a role where they’re basically veterans. [Jaylen Brown], [Jayson Tatum], they’ve been playing a lot of minutes and doing not just a good job, but a great job.”

“I think that’s the best thing about our team. Not just them, but all of them. We’ve got Terry Rozier, didn’t start any games, and now he’s a premier guy in this league and he’s showing he can play. Our young guys are definitely the best part of our team.”

The team has been without two of their key cogs in leading scorer Kyrie Irving and bench spark plug Marcus Smart, but have somehow managed to keep locked in the East's second seed, one which should give them a much-needed home court advantage until their stars can return to the lineup.
