Marcus Smart helped the Boston Celtics secure their seventh straight win after a huge trade deadline. He tallied 22 points, seven assists, five rebounds and five steals in a 108-102 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Of course, Smart couldn't help secure the win without creating a little controversy. In the Celtics win over the Nuggets, he got tangled with Facundo Campazzo and seemingly hit him in the face. Campazzo went flying in an attempt to sell contact but to no avail. He was hit with the foul call and Smart didn't get called for the contact.

Smart didn't lash out against Campazzo after the game, though. The Celtics' guard knows all about flopping and said that everyone in the NBA does it.

Smart has arguably been known as the league's most notorious and egregious flopper. He is no stranger to shamelessly selling contact and defending it. His role as the Celtics' nuisance is thanks in large part to his flopping and spectacular defense.

The Celtics nowadays are built on their defense. New trade-deadline acquisition Derrick White should pair terrifically with Smart. Both of them are adept at smothering opposing guards. With Jayson Tatum and Robert Williams also playing tremendous defense, the Celtics are gearing up to be a pesky playoff team.

Boston is 32-25 and is seventh in the Eastern Conference. The front office still has work to do before having a well-rounded roster but they are not too far away from it.
