Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart made his postseason debut in Monday night's Game 4 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. The former Oklahoma State standout had been suffering from an oblique injury, but he managed to recover enough to take the floor.

Smart struggled to find a rhythm in Game 4. As a precautionary measure, his time on the court was limited. He logged just 15 minutes, scoring three points on 1-of-7 shooting from the field, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer. He was clearly a bit rusty, so Celtics head coach Brad Stevens decided to call him to the bench early in the fourth quarter.

Now, with the fate of Boston's postseason hanging in the balance, Smart is hoping to have more of an impact in Game 5:

The Celtics are currently trailing the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals by a tally of three games to one. If Smart can muster a solid outing, he and the Celtics might be able to stave off elimination.

Despite the fact that the offseason is at their doorstep, Celtics big man Al Horford is keeping an optimistic point of view:

“I know probably to the outside world we probably don't stand much of a chance,” Horford told ESPN after scoring 20 in Game 4. “We're at a low point as a group, I guess that's the reality. We'll have to bring that fight to them on Wednesday.”

The Celtics and Bucks will meet for Game 5 on Wednesday night. Tip-off inside the Fiserv Forum is set for 8:00 p.m. ET, with TNT having live broadcast coverage.
