Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics recently gave an inside scoop on how Gregg Popovich is as a head coach and how much he's learning from everyone.

Via USA Basketball, Smart — who's part of the final 12-man roster who'll play in the FIBA World Cup — shared some of Popovich's methods as a coach. He's also in awe how he's being coached not by just Popovich, but by Steve Kerr and Jay Wright — two basketball coaches who are great in their own right.

“Yeah. Pop is a great guy. He’s hilarious. He does a lot of things to really get you focused and plays with your mind to really get you ready. But for us, the things we are learning is unbelievable, because all our years we played for a certain coach. We not only have Pop here, but we have Steve Kerr, we got Jay Wright. We got all these guys out here, and we get to learn from each and every last one of them.”

This is Smart's first time as a member of the USA Men's basketball team. However, he has represented his country back when he was still a teenager in 2013 FIBA U19 World Cup, 2012 FIBA Americas U18 Championship. The team won the gold on both occasions.

Smart is looking to offer his defensive tenacity as well as 3-point shooting to Team USA's quest for basketball world dominance and to defend their FIBA World title.
