Boston Celtics combo guard Marcus Smart will play in Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.

Smart hasn't played at all this postseason due to an oblique injury he suffered at the end of the regular season against the Orlando Magic. The Celtics are down 1-2 in the series.

During the regular season, Smart averaged 8.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game for the Celtics, who are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. He shot 42.2 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line.

After winning Game 1 of this series in Milwaukee, the Celtics have dropped two straight. Smart is the best perimeter defender on the team and plays with an energy and grit which has been lacking from Boston in these past two games.

This is a big boost for Boston. The crowd at the TD Garden is going to go crazy once Smart checks into the game. Kyrie Irving recently said Smart is a big part of what the team does on both ends of the court.
