Former Boston Celtics star Ray Allen said that the lack of communication between him and his ex-teammates bothers him.

Speaking with Rachel Nichols of ESPN during the eve of his induction into the Hall of Fame, Allen opened up about his tarnished relationship with former teammates Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett, among others. He said that the situation:

“[It] bothered me; Ive always hated to have any ill will or animosity in the airwaves. But I’m not throwing it out there. I'm just happy to be moving forward”

The rough patch between Allen and his teammates started when the sharpshooter rejected a deal with the Celtics and opted to sign with the Miami Heat to join LeBron James and company.

The decision especially hurt Garnett, who, according to reports, hasn't spoken to Allen since his landmark transfer to Miami. Meanwhile, Paul Pierce has patched things up with Allen. Unfortunately, Rondo doesn't seem close to mending the fence with Allen.

From the interview, Allen said that he's just happy moving forward and doesn't have a tinge of ill will for his former teammates. He said that his move to Miami is just among the many harsh realities of the sport. At the end of the day, it was nothing personal. During that time, Allen felt that the right move for his career was to be at someplace else.
