Robert Williams of the Boston Celtics just threw down a monster flush on Anthony Davis in the first quarter as the Celtics take on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Boston currently has an early 19-12 lead and will look to continue to do so after Williams gave the team a much-needed energy boost. Williams has been playing some great basketball for the Celtics as he’s averaging 9.1 points per game and 8.6 rebounds. He has been exactly what that Celtics needed as they need somebody who can give them valuable minutes at the center position and help the team get back to the winning ways that they are hoping for.

The Celtics aren’t having the season that they were hoping for as they are 13-11 and sixth in the Eastern Conference through the first two months of the season. It is clear that something needs to shake up in Boston and they might look to do so at the trade deadline. Whether that be bringing in a few pieces to play next to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown or trading Brown for somebody who they think can pair next to Tatum better.

Boston clearly has plenty of talent to compete in the NBA, but they just can’t seem to get things going on the right track. This would be a great win for them as they are taking on a tough Lakers team in Los Angeles. Robert Williams got the game started off with a bang and Boston will look to continue this type of energy throughout the night.
