Shane Larkin, who sustained a shoulder injury in their Game 4 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers back in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, is likely doubtful for the rest of the Eastern Conference Finals.

As reported by Jared Weiss, head coach Brad Stevens says Larkin will miss tonight's game and is doubtful for the entire series against the Cleveland Cavaliers:

Larkin has received ample playing time after the Celtics' star guard Kyrie Irving, was forced to sit out for the rest of the series due to an injury.

In 54 games in the regular season, Larkin logged in 4.3 points per game, 1.7 assists, and 1.8 rebounds. In 11 games in the playoffs, he averaged 3.7 points, one rebound, and 1.8 assists in 14 minutes of action per contest.

Larkin said then that he felt like he's on the road to recovery. He noted that he's getting his jumpshot back and his primary concern is not to reinjure his shoulder again. As reported by The Boston Globe:

“There was a little pain here and there, but that’s just something I’m going to have to get used to going forward,’’ Larkin said. “But everything is pretty good. My shot is getting more fluid. Just being able to fend off people is the next step, so everything’s progressing in the right way and I’m feeling good.’’
